At Reed Hall we are dedicated to offering sustainable functions and events, please see our Environmental Policy for more details.
We also like to support our guests in enjoying a more sustainable experience by helping them become a ‘greener’ visitor during their time with us – see our Responsible Visitor Charter.
The University of Exeter is committed to the principles and practice of environmental sustainability in its activities throughout the institution. In June 2012, Campus Services, the department which Reed Hall is part of at the University, was awarded the ISO14001 certification for its Environmental Management System. The IS04001 accreditation highlights the robust policies and procedures in place which allow the Service to clearly demonstrate its improvements in environmental performance. The ISO14001 certification looks at all aspects of the organisation, from legal requirements through to grounds management, environmental communication, construction and refurbishment.
We also expect all our staff to go about their duties in a resource efficient way and minimise any impact to the environment wherever possible and we are delighted to have achieved the Silver in the University’s Green Impact Scheme.
